Collins Donye is a visionary tech entrepreneur and the founder of Rvysion Design Studio, a venture studio focused on building innovative digital solutions. From an early age, his passion for design and technology was evident—he spent his childhood dismantling toys, creating his own playthings, and exploring digital tools with the encouragement of his father. By the age of ten, he was already honing his skills at a cyber training center, sparking a lifelong journey of curiosity and innovation. While studying computer science at university, Collins found traditional education limiting and sought out hands-on experience. He began offering design services to his peers and lecturers, building digital flyers and websites while sharpening his skills. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to sell shawarma on campus, demonstrating his resourcefulness and business acumen. Collins landed his first tech internship in his first year of university at a WordPress design studio, accelerating his learning and career trajectory. Over the years, he intentionally built expertise in design, development, product management, and marketing, crediting his growth to curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Driven by the desire to solve real-world problems, Collins founded Rvysion Design Studio, starting by mentoring and collaborating with young talents before expanding into a full-fledged venture studio. Under Rvysion’s umbrella, he has launched multiple platforms, including MyDesignWiz.com, a community connecting African designers with global clients; Reyna UI, a component library for website building; One Draft Design, a marketplace for no-code solutions; and Rvysion Studio, the client services arm of the company. Through his work, Collins continues to champion innovation, digital empowerment, and the importance of learning through doing. His journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring tech professionals across Africa, showcasing how curiosity, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurship can create impactful solutions.
